Our Team’s Favourite Holiday Traditions

A father and son decorate a Christmas tree; one of many common holiday traditions

DECEMBER IS HERE, and that means so is the holiday season! We’re looking forward to it just as much as you, which is why we got our team together to share some of our favourite holiday traditions!

Traditions That Make The Season Great
Dr. Saj, Dentist

"The thing I look forward to most is cozying up with family watching Christmas movies (Home Alone for sure) in a warm sweater and of course eating wonderful holiday food like turkey with all the fixings. The cherry on top is if it’s snowing outside during these heartwarming moments."

Amanda, Regional Manager and Social Media Guru

"My favourite holiday tradition is turning on Christmas music and putting up the Christmas tree with my son.  I've kept every Christmas ornament he's made throughout his school years and it's fun to pull them out and reminisce on his younger years."

Jane, Dental Hygienist and Christmas Fanatic

"We sing them every year! We've sung them all our lives! Christmas Carols! We hum them and hear them year after year, but we hardly ever think about the significance of the words or the origin of the lovely melodies. We can actually overlook the fact that somebody wrote these wonderful songs, and as a consequence, we miss much of their magic."

Renée, Treatment Coordinator

"I'm from New Zealand and one of our traditions is Christmas at the beach. We spend the day swimming, sunbathing, and eating; and end it all with pavlova. A white Canadian Christmas is definitely beautiful, but nothing beats hot sand and blue skies!"
